This is a list of a number of different vendors who have given me excellent service:

Triangle Cables January 2003

I ordered 2 50' AV cables from them. Even though the problem might have been on my end they sent me replacement cables, and allowed me to downgrade from an s-video cable to a rca cable and refunded me the difference.

Apple Computer January 2003

Apple replaced my 6 month old iPod's remote control, no questions asked. (Yes, it was really defective.) Here's a link.

Apple Computer February 2003

My iPod was rebooting when I plugged the remote in. This would make it loose the play count, besides just being wrong. I put my old one in the mail on Sunday night, and I had a brand new one on my door step Saturday morning.

Steve Kemph October 1999

Amy and I hired Steve to be our attorney to oversee the purchase of our townhome. At the closing he appeared competent, but not overly so. I remember our builder was surprised when our attorney didn't have any questions or changes to make to their contract. The real problem came after the closing. There was a problem with the real estate taxes and Steve must have decided that he had done enough since he never returned one of my many phone calls about this. I can accept that he felt that the relatively small fee he got for our closing might not have been enough to cover the real estate taxes problem (accept, but not agree) - but he should have returned my calls to tell me this. Also, he never answered his office phone - everytime I wanted to talk with him I had to leave a message and have him call me back.
